Meet Aimee

Hello! I’m Aimee Holzrichter.

I believe meaningful impact happens when clarity, integrity, and action come together.

My personal journey began in a small town in Kansas with a graduating class of just 24 people, but my world expanded early. When I was eight years old, my aunt gifted me a trip to Florida that sparked a lifelong passion for exploration. Today, as a proud University of Kansas alumna (Rock Chalk!) who has traveled to 45 states, 13 countries, and 5 continents, I love passing that same gift of travel and perspective on to my nieces and nephews.

I am an educator at heart and pursued that by receiving a degree in Education, with minors in Math and English, from KU. I love sharing and expanding knowledge and ideas. The moments when something new clicks for someone or when their worldview expands give me immense joy. I’ve taught and facilitated learning in a variety of ways, on a multitude of topics and to all ages.  (One of my favorite early experiences was at 18, giving train and boat tours at the Sedgwick County Zoo. Did you know that spider monkeys lack opposable thumbs, but make up for it with their prehensile tail?)

A Human-Centered Foundation

My professional career has spanned education, behavioral health, and non-profit leadership. While these fields may seem different on the surface, they share something important: they are human-centered spaces driven by people dedicated to helping others. Bryan Stevenson’s book, Just Mercy, helped me conceptualize my beliefs about people. I believe each of us is more than the worst thing we’ve done and our character can be measured by how we treat the most vulnerable. Our situations do not define our humanity, and all people deserve compassion and opportunities to grow.

Across all of my roles, I have found myself drawn to improving operations, enhancing compliance, and increasing the quality of services. Even when I’m not looking for it, operations and compliance have found me, from food service, to childcare and education, to healthcare licensures and accreditations. I’ve learned that compliance and structure aren’t just about rules; they are about creating systems and cultures that protect people, promote fairness, and build trust. The strongest individuals and organizations don’t just meet requirements; they go beyond them to operate with clarity, accountability, and purpose.

Coaching for Meaningful Impact

Currently, I am expanding my practice by pursuing my Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). While I have spent years helping teams implement complex projects in efficient, human-centered ways, I frequently meet professionals who are overwhelmed, under-supported, and stuck navigating constant organizational change. They are doing their best in environments that move fast and demand a lot, leaving little room to actually think.

As a personal and professional coach, I create a space where you can slow down, think clearly, and reconnect with what matters most. It is place where you are fully seen, heard, and thoughtfully challenged without judgment. I’m committed to creating an environment where you are supported to process complexity, challenge assumptions, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

I am especially passionate about “helping the helpers”—the individuals and organizations dedicated to supporting communities, improving lives, or protecting our environment. These roles carry big responsibilities and competing priorities. I will help you navigate that complexity while staying grounded in your values.

Aiming to Elevate

My goal at Aiming to Elevate is to combine my passion for people, love of educating and experience in operations to help individuals and organizations turn meaningful intentions into tangible, sustainable impact. Whether you’re seeking personal clarity, building something new, or strengthening how you or your organization operates, I want to help you aim higher and follow through.
